Movie Review : Wolverine:X Men Origin

This movie story about one of my favourite X Men character,Wolverine. This character was born in the mid-1880s in Canada which name James Howlett and was not yet known as Wolverine. He was a sickly child who witnessed his father’s murder at the hand of Victor Creed’s father. James become angry and sees bone claws erupt from his knuckles and killing Creed. Creed reveal in his last breath that he was in fact James’s father as well as Victor. When his mother saw the murder, she screamed loudly and both James and Victor ran away.

Victor and James both have mutant healing abilities, which keep them alive and almost ageless. Victor has bony fingernails that can grow like James’ bone claws. And both have extraordinary strength and agility. These abilities, merged with the rage that boils inside of each of them, enables them to stay alive and fight together for the next 100+ years.

In the beginning of the movie,we can see both of them run through their time in the Civil War, World War I,World War II,and finally the Vietnam War. In Vietnam, they are enlisted by William Stryker, who is a military scientist, into and elite group of mutants working as problem solvers. James and Victor work with Fred Dukes,John Wraith,Chris Bradley,Agent Zero and Wade Wilson. Stryker has his own agenda however, which eventually leads the team to Nigeria where James decides he has had enough of the killing and walks away.

Six years later, we see James working as a lumberjack in the Canadian Rockies with his girlfriend Kayla Silverfox . When Stryker and Victor eventually track him down, Victor kills Silverfox and defeats his brother in an unfair fight. Stryker tells James he has a way to even the odds and revenge makes him take him up on the offer.

When James is given the adamantium skeleton, he changes his name to Logan and gains the alias “Wolverine” based on a tale told by Silverfox of two spirits in love, the Moon and a Wolverine. When it’s suggested by the Trickster that the Wolverine should pick flowers for the Moon, he forgets that once you leave the spirit world you can never go back. After Silverfox’s death, James takes the Wolverine name to heart.

From then on, the chase begins. Wolverine hunts down Victor Creed and learns that Stryker and Victor are working together on a project where they’ve been kidnapping mutants for the last few years. During the chase, Wolverine looks up some old friends and gains some new ones . And the movie leads to a huge battle at Three Mile Island.

Seasons In The Sun

[Kian:]

Goodbye to you my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we've climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees

[Bryan:]
Goodbye my friend it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
Think of me and I'll be there

[All:]
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time

[Shane:]
Goodbye Papa please pray for me
I was the black sheep of the family
You tried to teach me right from wrong
Too much wine and too much song
Wonder how I got along

[Mark:]
Goodbye papa it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
Little children everywhere
When you see them I'll be there

[All:]
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

[Nicky:]
Goodbye Michelle my little one
You gave me love and helped me find the sun
And every time that I was down
You would always come around
And get my feet back on the ground

[Shane:]
Goodbye Michelle it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
With the flowers everywhere
I wish that we could both be there

[All:]
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

This song tell us about the importance of friendship and human relationship in our life. Friendship is co-operative and supportive behaviour between two or more people. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which invove mutual knowledge, estee, and affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis. Friends will welcome each other 's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism .

A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviours. Yet for many people, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.

How Alcoholics Can Recover From Addiction

Unfortunately the majority of alcoholics just never get help in time, and refuse to reach out for help until it is too late. If only they had just realized that they had indeed had a problem and that at least somebody had managed to have to perseverance to get the message through. Sometimes though a tragic stories can lead to help other people and even react if they are able to see the same thing happening in their own life. Obviously those who suffer most are an alcoholics direct family so as we all have family this story should be easy enough to relate to.

Mr Jones woke up one summers morning to find his 60 year old wife had passed out in her bed. She was only 60, didn’t have cancer, no heart disease, just severe depression, due to the fact that her children had moved away and leaving her no grandchildren close by, and her life became empty and she just felt worthless and slowly lead towards depression.

Her husband was not a very loving man and wasn’t really up to the job of being a good listener. On the contrary, he would put her down, criticize her feelings and managed to distance himself from her dilemma. So Mrs Jones began to look for comfort elsewhere, and due to her lack of real friends in her life, she found something that she thought would help - Alcohol.

Why Alcohol? It makes you forget and the problems just disappear making it the perfect solution for a depressed person. Unfortunately Mrs Jones didn’t stop drinking for 21 days until one morning she just didn’t wake up due to her comatose state. During her stay in hospital her family were only interested in getting her to stop drinking alcohol, and not affronting the issues that most worried Mrs Jones. You see, she was still under the illusion that without alcohol her life would remain a dark existence, so she ended up not even wanting to talk to any of her family.

After 3 weeks in hospital it was decided to let Mrs Jones return home to her husband, who was under strict instructions not to let her drink. Mrs Jones was in a desperate state, and later said she was planning suicide, but then that very morning the phone rang. It was Mrs Jones son Peter with some good news. His wife was pregnant and so they had decided to return home as they would need Mrs Jones help with the other Grand children. Well suddenly Mrs Jones life was turned upside down and she suddenly had meaning given back to her life. Even though she had to wait several months for their return, she was a new women.

The moral behind the story is twofold really. First, alcohol is not a solution to depression and secondly if you do know an alcoholic personally, ask them what the matter is and act accordingly. Even if you can get their problem met half way it could prevent a tragic end.

A Tale Of Two Frogs

This story is about two students, much like yourselves.
Like you, they work hard, play hard, and are rooting for the Eagles.
Unlike you, though, they’re green—because they’re frogs.

Well, these two frogs were walking down mid valley shopping complexs., one fine April afternoon. They were looking for a place to get a free lunch.

They passed by the two Pizza shops, and the Chinese restaurant, and finally found themselves in the kitchen of the diner at one Japanese restaurant.
What luck—there was an empty kitchen and a huge pail of ice cold milk.

Carefully they perched on the pail’s side and drank.
But they weren’t careful enough—and they both fell in to this deep pail of ice cold milk.
They struggled and struggled and they couldn’t get a grip on the slippery pail. It looked really bad for our two frogs.

One frog was sure it was the end.

He said, “O let’s give up—I’m so tired from treading milk, my flippers are exhausted, and what’s the point? We’re going to die anyway?”

They other frog wasn’t having any of it: She said, “Come on, now, just keep trying. You can do it.”

The first frog said, “No we can’t do it—we’re going to drown—it’s hopeless.”

The other frog said, “Come on now, you can do it—just don’t give up.”

And something strange started to happen-- their paddling became less frantic.
Why?
Because as they struggled and struggled, the milk turned to butter---and the frogs climbed atop the churned butter, out of the pail, out of the restaurant, and hopped back to school, where they took showers in the gym.

What’s the point of the story? Don’t give up. NO matter how hopeless things may seem, you never know from where you’ll get a leg up.
